About me

Thank you for visiting my blog! This is a humble attempt to share my passion for cooking and you will find many Maharashtrian recipes, my favorite recipes, my husband's favourite recipes & many more. Cooking has always been my hobby & passion, but I never found enough  time to cook and experiment different recipes because of my hectic work schedule. I'm making the most of it now, in my free time. I  have recently developed a liking for 'food photography' which is totally a new concept for me Honestly, I have no formal training in food photography. Taking images of food is a learning process :-)

I was brought in a household who loves to eat (as they call in marathi "assal khaavvye"). My mother has always being my inspiration and I would like to thank her all over again for making me who I am today. I remember as a kid she always used to tell me and my twin "whatever you girls land-up doing in life, be it a hard-core career women or a housewife a girl has to learn the basic cooking before she gets married"
Did I tell you it was compulsory? Yes you got it right!!!
I get my inspiration for cooking mostly from my mother's recipes, watching cooking related shows on different channels, reading books.

I would appreciate your comments and feedback as a guest of my blog & welcome your comments and feedback that are useful to all and if you leave a comment be it related to the topic.
So looking forward to seeing you more often and would love to have your contributions as well.
Lastly, I would like to thank Kunal for his support for making this blog happen.
Cheers & Happy Cooking!
Soni
